Nairobi Hospice Walk- Community Service

This past Saturday we took sixteen students out to participate in the annual Nairobi Hospice Charity walk that is organised by Nairobi Hospice. Nairobi Hospice prides itself in providing palliative care to patients with non-communicable and terminal illness, chief among them cancer patients.

We commend the efforts and self-giving of our students who fundraised through buying and selling of branded merchandise. Special mention to Gibran Bank who single handed, managed to raise over thirty thousand shillings through sale of merchandise.

It was a joy and delight for our students and the larger Braeburn Secondary School fraternity to participate in supporting this initiative that strives to put “Life into the days” of those who are terminally ill.
