After a competitive Inter house cross country, our selected elite teams journeyed to Turi St Andrews for the annual interschool Cross Country. Our team was quite outstanding in what was witnessed as a high quality field of athletes from over 8 of the top International Schools in Kenya. Savannah Grantham once again proved her worth as one of Braeburn’s finest, who is always ready to drive herself with everything she has. She won the silver medal in the under 15 girls.

Ali El Kassis- 4th in the under 15 Boys

David Dos Santos- 6th in the under 15 Boys

Ivana Martin- 4th in the under 19 Girls

Rachel Schoch- 5th in the under 19 Girls

Our team performance was the best ever in our history, coming overall second position losing by a mere 4 points to home school Turi. This was truly a brilliant effort by all, proving that Braeburn does not just have a few natural athletes but strength and depth in it’s ranks, thanks to the hard work of our committed PE department as well as the focused commitment of our students. They say that in cross country, your team is only as good as your weakest runner. Clearly our weakest runners are strong. Well done to all involved.
