Curriculum Overview
Year 9 students focus on high-order concepts broadly aligned with the English Key Stage 3 curriculum. Assessment criteria reflect those used at IGCSE. During Term 2, students are supported and guided to make the subject choices they will study for the Cambridge IGCSE courses.
Students in Years 10 and 11 continue their IGCSE curriculum. Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, and at least one Science are compulsory at Key Stage 4 unless a differentiated curriculum meets the student’s needs. Students typically prepare for a total of nine or ten IGCSE examinations.
