Extracurricular Life
At Braeburn School, we aim to maximise opportunities for children beyond the classroom. We believe that enhancing childhood experiences helps develop well-rounded individuals and equip them with skills for the future.
Students are expected to participate in at least one extracurricular activity per week. We have various activities, including Model United Nations, Community Service, International Maths Challenge, and STEM Club.
Our students can access excellent sporting facilities, including a well-equipped gym, squash courts, swimming pools, an all-weather astroturf pitch, and two professional theatres.

Braeburn School celebrates many sporting successes. As members of IAPS (Independent Association for Preparatory Schools) and KAIIS (Kenya Association for Independent International Schools), we are fortunate to compete with over 20 other schools in and around Nairobi annually.

Creative Arts
We have three major productions each year and regular musical concerts, talent shows, and class assemblies. LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) is an extracurricular activity taught by a qualified instructor to children in Years 3 to 8.

We actively encourage our parents and guardians to become part of the Braeburn family, forging friendships that will last across the years and the miles. We are fortunate to offer facilities and activities for our families to take advantage of, and we have a dynamic and dedicated group of parents who make up FAB (Friends at Braeburn), who play an integral role in organising vibrant school events for our students, families, and staff.
