As part of our school's commitment to community service, a group of student leaders recently visited Dagoretti Muslim Primary School for a day of learning, interaction, and giving back to the community. The students who took part were Janelle, Li, Atharva, and Japjot, who led the group, accompanied by our Head Teacher, Ms. Borewell. We were also joined by Mr. Njagi and Mr. Juma from our school, as well as Jonathan Lewis, the founder of Flip Flash, and Mr. Kent.
The visit gave us the opportunity to spend time with the pupils, get to know their school community, and engage in meaningful conversations. The students were welcoming, eager to participate, and shared their ideas with confidence, making the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.
Jonathan Lewis and Mr. Kent encouraged the pupils to value education, work hard, and make the most of every opportunity. Their words inspired thoughtful discussions and reminded everyone that determination and curiosity can open many doors.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed interacting with the pupils, sharing experiences, and encouraging them to embrace leadership, kindness, and teamwork. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and willingness to learn from one another.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the staff and students of Dagoretti Muslim Primary School for their warm welcome and hospitality. We also thank Ms. Borewell, Mr. Njagi, Mr. Juma, Jonathan Lewis, and Mr. Kent for their support in making the visit both meaningful and memorable.
This visit marks the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting partnership. We look forward to working with the Dagoretti Muslim Primary School community in the future, supporting initiatives that help improve their facilities, and creating more opportunities to learn from and serve one another.
