25th April 2025
On Friday 25th April, the primary dining hall was transformed into a battlefield of strategy and concentration as our chess enthusiasts gathered for the much-anticipated Inter-house Chess Competition. Competitors from Kifaru, Chui, Twiga, and Ndovu houses demonstrated impressive skill, focus, and sportsmanship across the primary school, with even our youngest participant from Year 1 bravely stepping up to the challenge.
A special thanks goes to our dedicated house captains and prefects, whose hard work in setting up the hall and supporting the smooth running of the event was invaluable. Their efforts ensured that our players could concentrate fully on their matches.
After four intense rounds across three categories, we were proud to select the pupils who will represent our school at the upcoming IAPS Chess Competition. Congratulations to all competitors for their enthusiasm and determination!
The final house results were as follows:
Overall Results
1st - Kifaru 29.5 points
2nd - Ndovu 27.5 points
3rd - Twiga 25.5 points
4th - Chui 21.5 points
Well done to Kifaru house for taking the top spot! We look forward to seeing our representatives shine at the IAPS competition.
