A Day in Ancient Greece!

On February 13th, Year 3 came to school dressed as Ancient Greeks! Some of us were gods and goddesses.
We started the day by learning Greek words, like kalosorisma, which means "welcome" in Greek. It was really fun trying to pronounce them!
Next, we learned about Greek food. We tried things like black olives, Greek yogurt, and yummy bread. Some of us liked the taste, but others weren’t so sure!
At the end of the day, we watched a movie called Hercules. This was really exciting because we have been learning all about Ancient Greece. It was the perfect way to end our special day!
