A New Format for Inter-House Athletics!

30th November 2023

The penultimate week of Term 1 marked a revolutionary shift in the landscape of Inter House Athletics at Braeburn, and it was nothing short of a triumph. The entire student body enthusiastically participated in a spectrum of activities in track and field, showcasing not only their athletic prowess but also a deep understanding of each discipline. These skills had been diligently honed throughout the term in their physical education lessons.

The atmosphere was electric, filled with cheers and unwavering support as pupils rallied behind their respective houses. The most intense moments unfolded during mixed-gender relays, heart-pounding 100m sprints, and the timeless battle of tug of war.

This success owes much to the seamless coordination facilitated by our Year 8 house captains and dedicated class teachers. Their invaluable assistance ensured that every event ran like clockwork, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated. The revamped Inter House Athletics has set a new standard, fostering not only athletic excellence but also a sense of camaraderie that will resonate throughout the school.

Well done to Kifaru House for topping the results table!
