A New Level for Girls Cricket

9th November 2024

Over the past three years, the standards of cricket in our community have advanced remarkably. The children’s skills have consistently improved, driven by evolving training models and match formats that keep pushing their development forward.

On Saturday, 9th November, the girls raised the bar yet again, delivering a level of play that was both fiercely competitive and tactically impressive. The matches were a true showcase of their technical expertise and strategic understanding of the game.

The Braeburn girls put in an outstanding performance, and while they narrowly missed advancing past the preliminary rounds, their losses were by fewer than 10 runs each—a testament to how closely fought these matches were. Noelle Njeri earned a special mention, winning the 'Best Batter of the Tournament' title for her exceptional contributions on.

The entire team should be incredibly proud of what they achieved. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every match, and they’ve set an inspiring standard for the seasons to come.
