A Strong Showing at the KAISSO Cross Country in Nanyuki

3rd May 2025

Our cross-country team has been training hard this season, gearing up for back-to-back events that will be held in the first half of term. We started off with a warm-up event at Kenton College on the 24th April, where our U11 & 13 boys finished 2nd overall, and the other categories also posted encouraging results.

Then on Friday 2nd May, a group of 21 pupils travelled to Nanyuki to take part in the exciting KAISSO cross-country event held at the beautiful Tambuzi Flower Farm on 3rd May. The athletes competed across various distances — 3km, 3.5km, and 4.2km — and showed tremendous determination and team spirit throughout the day. Many achieved personal bests on the challenging course, which was both scenic and demanding.

A special congratulations goes to Sofie (Year 5), who delivered an outstanding performance in the U11 girls' category, finishing second with an impressive time of 17:37 over 3.5km.
