A Surprise Guest for Tea

Over the first two weeks of term, the Year 1 pupils have been learning about labels, lists, captions and invitations. To wind up this topic, the children hosted a delightful tea party with homemade cakes and jam sandwiches and a surprise guest attended ... a big, furry, striped tiger decided to come for tea! It was a wonderful event that was enjoyed by all and the tiger did not eat all the food at the party! The tea party was inspired by Judith Kerr's book, 'The Tiger who came to Tea'.
