Back-to-Back Glory at the Hillcrest Pitch, Chip & Putt Competition

The Braeburn golfers once again demonstrated their talent, determination and teamwork at the 10th annual Hillcrest Pitch, Chip & Putt Competition, successfully defending their title and making school history by becoming back-to-back overall champions. Competing against six other schools, our squad delivered an outstanding performance to retain the championship trophy by an impressive 66-point margin. This achievement was made even more remarkable by the fact that our U9 and U11 girls' teams competed with one player fewer than their opponents, leaving little room for error throughout the day.
The team's success was built on a series of exceptional performances across the age groups. The U11 boys secured 1st place overall as a team, with one golfer earning an excellent 2nd-place individual finish. The U13 boys continued the winning momentum by claiming 1st place as a team, while also producing a joint 1st-place individual performer. Not to be outdone, the U13 girls finished joint 1st overall as a team and dominated the individual standings, securing 1st place on the podium. Every golfer contributed to this remarkable achievement, showing resilience, skill and composure under pressure.
