Big Splashes: Early Years & KS1 Gala

On 16th March, our Early Years and Key Stage 1 pupils took to the pool for a joyful and energetic Swimming Gala. The atmosphere was full of excitement as our youngest swimmers confidently demonstrated their developing skills through a variety of races, from kicking with floats to independent swims. For many, it was their first gala experience, and it was wonderful to see them rise to the occasion with such enthusiasm, courage, and big smiles.
More than just a competition, the gala was a celebration of participation, progress, and fun. Pupils cheered each other on, showed fantastic sportsmanship, and took pride in their efforts in the water. It was inspiring to see the range of abilities on display, with every child contributing to the success of the event. A big thank you to our sports staff for organising such a special day, and to parents for their continued support—well done to all our young swimmers!
