6th February 2026
On Friday 6th February, the High School Hall came alive with music, colour and laughter as our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils enjoyed their much-anticipated Bows and Bowties Disco.
The excitement had been building all week and it was clear from the moment the children arrived that this was an event they had been eagerly waiting for. Dressed in their finest bows and smartest bowties, pupils proudly showed off their outfits before heading straight to the dance floor. The true highlight of the evening was the sheer happiness and confidence on display as children danced freely, jumped, twirled and sang along to the music with their friends.
The hall was filled with beaming smiles, joyful giggles and lots of energetic moves as pupils encouraged one another and shared the fun together. Even during short breaks, the excitement continued as children chatted with friends, enjoyed drinks and snacks and picked out glow-in-the-dark treats from the FAB shop, before eagerly returning to the music.
It was a wonderful KS1 celebration that captured the joy of being together, building friendships and simply having fun. A big thank you to FAB and all the teachers and staff who helped create such a happy and memorable evening for our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.
