25th October 2024
The 2024 NCBA Lisle Shaw Inter-School Junior Golf Tournament, held on Friday, 25th October, was a proud moment for Braeburn. This prestigious event, one of the oldest junior golf tournaments in the country, has been a hallmark of youth golfing excellence since its inception, drawing junior handicapped golfers from across the nation. Participants competed in two categories: the Main Trophy and the Subsidiary (Plate) Trophy.
Representing Braeburn in the Main Competition were Nathan and Wahome from the High School, along with Palash and Hope from Year 7. Competing in the Subsidiary (Plate) Competition were Xiao (Year 8), Luke (Year 4), and You Ran (Year 6).
Our players showcased great talent and sportsmanship. Braeburn placed 9th overall in the fiercely competitive Main Trophy category. In the Subsidiary (Plate) Competition, Braeburn clinched first place, with You Ran Li emerging as the top golfer in this category—a strong achievement that highlights the dedication and skills of our young golfers.
Congratulations to all of Braeburn’s remarkable golfers for their hard work and outstanding performances.
