The results of the Kenya Aquatics Nationals Swimming Championship, held at Mpesa Foundation in Thika on Saturday, 18th, and Sunday, 19th May, are in. This prestigious event attracted schools and clubs from across the nation and neighbouring countries, showcasing top-tier swimming talent. Braeburn Swimming Club emerged victorious, clinching the overall winners' title in both the boys' and girls' categories.
Braeburn's team, represented by Mina, Caitlin, Veerle, Dieuwke, Berenice and Marvin, delivered outstanding performances. Each swimmer achieved personal bests in their respective events, contributing to the school's impressive victory. Their dedication and hard work paid off, setting new benchmarks for future competitions.
In terms of medals, Caitlin and Mina each secured a bronze medal. Berenice earned two gold medals and one bronze. Marvin shone brightly with six gold medals and one silver, underscoring Braeburn's dominance at the championship. The achievements of these swimmers highlight the strength and skill within the Braeburn Swimming Club, promising a bright future in competitive swimming.
