Braeburn Rugby Teams Battle Hard at 2025 Ndume 7s

21st June 2025

On Saturday 21st June, Braeburn School proudly took part in the 2025 Pembroke House Ndume 7s Tournament, hosted at Pembroke House School. Our Under 11 A boys, Under 13 1st boys and Under 13 girls touch rugby teams all displayed determination, skill and true Braeburn spirit throughout the day.

The Under 11 A boys had an impressive run, winning 4 out of their 5 group stage matches to secure a spot in the semi-finals, where they convincingly defeated Hillcrest 20–0. In a thrilling final against The Banda, the boys gave it their all, putting up a spirited performance to finish in a well-earned second place.

The Under 13 1st boys and Under 13 girls both played with heart and resilience. Each team won 3 of their 5 group games, narrowly missing out on the semi-finals — with the girls’ team falling just short due to points scored difference. A huge thank you goes out to the parents who came to cheer on our pupils; your support created a fantastic atmosphere and reminded us of the strength of the Braeburn community.

A special mention goes to Mohamed, Jayson, Eli and Finnley who were selected to play for Nairobi West on Sunday, 22nd June, during the Regional U13 competition. You did us proud!
