Braeburn School Celebrates Success at East African World Schools Debate Championship - EAWSDC 2026

Braeburn Senior School is delighted to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its students at the prestigious East African World Schools Debate Championship 2026, where the school delivered an exceptional performance against some of the region’s finest young speakers and debaters.
The school’s A Team emerged as the East African Junior Champions 2026 in the Main Cup after an extraordinary unbeaten run throughout the competition. The B Team proudly secured the Bronze Cup title, further highlighting the depth of talent, preparation, and determination within the school’s debate and speech club. The competition also saw two of the school’s Public Speakers achieve individual excellence by ranking 5th and 6th out of 89 participants, an outstanding accomplishment in a highly competitive field.
These achievements are a testament not only to the students’ discipline and dedication, but also to the culture of excellence, leadership, and courage that school continues to nurture. Through countless hours of preparation, research, practice debates, and public speaking sessions, the students demonstrated resilience, sportsmanship, and a passion for intellectual growth.
