10th November 2024
On November 10, Braeburn Scouts gathered at the Commonwealth War Graves on Ngong Road to honour the memory of those who lost their lives during the World Wars. This annual Remembrance Day service, now in its fourth year of Braeburn’s participation, offered a moving opportunity for scouts to reflect on the sacrifices made for the peace we enjoy today.
As part of the ceremony, the scouts laid wreaths and recited 'In Flanders Fields' by John McCrae, adding to the solemn atmosphere and fostering a deep appreciation of history and remembrance. This meaningful experience reminds each scout of the enduring importance of gratitude, respect, and service.
