Braeburn Senior School proudly participated in the 2026 edition of the World Scholar's Cup, hosted at Nairobi Light Academy, where nine scholars represented the school and delivered outstanding performances across multiple categories.
The students demonstrated exceptional academic excellence, teamwork, and critical thinking throughout the competition. Their efforts were rewarded with remarkable achievements, including winning the Overall Individual Scholar’s Challenge Award in the Senior Category and earning several medals in the Super Junior Category.
All Braeburn teams successfully qualified for the Global Round, scheduled to take place in July 2026, marking an important international milestone for the scholars.
Among the standout performers was Zohid Mohammed, who achieved 5th place overall and emerged as the Top Scholar in History, showcasing exceptional analytical and historical understanding.
Another remarkable achievement came from Prajeet Ghose, who dominated the competition by becoming:
● Top Scholar in History
● Top Scholar in Literature and Media
● Overall Top Scholar of the Nairobi Round, earning the prestigious Jac Khor Award.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication of the students and the strong academic culture fostered at Braeburn Senior School. The school community celebrates their success and looks forward to supporting the scholars as they represent the school on the global stage.
