Braeburn Sweeps County Level 3 Swimming Titles

The Braeburn Swimming Club made a big splash at this year’s Nairobi County Level 3 Gala held at Kiota School from 19th to 21st September. It is the highest tier of county swimming, where only the fastest athletes compete. Our swimmers not only smashed personal best times but also brought home medals, set new meet records, and were crowned Overall Champions in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.

Record Breakers & Award Winners:

• Rovin – New record in Boys 10–11 50m Backstroke (39.39).
• Caitlin – New record in Girls 12–13 50m Breaststroke (40.31).
• Romar – Best Swimmer (Boys 12–13), broke 3 meet records (200m IM, 200m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle).
• Berenice – Best Swimmer (Girls 10–11), broke an incredible 8 meet records, including 50m Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Backstroke.
