Braeburn Swimming Highlights: KAISSO Finals & NCSA Championships

Braeburn swimmers delivered outstanding performances across two major events from the 14th to 16th November. At the KAISSO Finals, held at Woodcreek School on 14th November, our Region 2 team impressed with numerous medals, personal bests, and strong teamwork—contributing to Region 2 being crowned overall champions.

KAISSO Medal Winners:

  • Gold Medal Winners: Liya, Sophie, Sienna, Felix, Octave, Caitlin, Berenice, Rovin, Marvin, Chihiro, Oscar, Nia, Kireth, Matiel, Rinna, Ivanna, and Yibo.
  • Silver Medal Winners: Sofie, Sienna, Nia
  • Bronze Medal Winners: Liya, Sophie, Octave, Chihiro, Adrian,

Just a day later, our swimmers competed at the NCSA Inter-Club Invitational Championships at Kasarani, facing top national competition. Once again, they delivered exceptional performances, with many personal bests, several meet records, and Braeburn being named Overall Champions in both Boys’ and Girls’ categories.

NCSA Medal Winners & Records:

  • Berenice (Year 8): 2 Gold, 2 Silver — 800m Free (MR: 11:41.18), 200m IM (MR: 2:57.28)
  • Rovin (Year 6): 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 1 Bronze — 200m Back (MR: 2:49.80 & 3:16.35); 2nd Best Boy (12–13 yrs)
  • Marvin (Year 8): 4 Gold — 100m Back (MR: 1:10.57), 200m IM (MR: 2:31.95), 200m Breast (MR: 3:00.66)
  • Felix (Year 7): 2 Silver, 3 Bronze
  • Liya (Year 5): 1 Bronze
  • Mariel: 1 bronze
