Braeburn @ the Tournament of Champions at Yale University

15th November 2025

Through the month of November, our junior scholars proudly represented the school at the prestigious Tournament of Champions held at Yale University, Connecticut, following their impressive qualification at the Ljubljana Global Round in Slovenia. Aaradhya, Jinghan, and Alama excelled across multiple categories—including team writing, the scholar bowl challenge, and team debates—earning an exceptional total of 3 gold medals and 6 silver medals.

Beyond the academic challenge, the trip offered an unforgettable cultural experience. Our pupils explored New York City, visiting iconic landmarks such as the Statue of Liberty, the New York Stock Exchange, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Verrazzano Bridge, USA’s longest suspension bridge. They cruised to Ellis Island, admired historic sites like Trinity Church, and paid their respects at the 9/11 One World Trade Center. Their itinerary also included visits to the Port of Clinton, the Federal Bank, and New York’s Grand Central Terminal, where they learned about the station’s rich history and remarkable design.

The journey was further enriched by shared meals, cultural exchanges at the Scholar’s Ball and Cultural Night, and friendships formed with peers from around the world. A truly memorable adventure—well done, scholars!
