Braeburn @ the Under 9 IAPS Tennis Festival

The Under 9 IAPS Tennis Festival made a comeback at The Banda School on Tuesday 27th June, after a 4 year hiatus. Each school entered 4 boys and 4 girls in the festival, with Kai, Gurvir, Samuel and Matheus representing Braeburn in the boys category, while Tessa, Georgia, Hikari and Lilin (all in Year 4) represented the girls.
All the players were seeded from 1 to 4, and the format of the games was such that the first player to get to 7 points would be declared the winner. Both the boys and girls did a fantastic job of representing the school, showing promising tennis skills and the will to succeed. Special mention goes to Lilin who played exceptionally well in the girls category by winning many of her games.
