Braeburn Triathletes Shine at IAPS Event

The Under 11 and Under 13 IAPS Triathlon event was held at Braeburn Garden Estate on Saturday 3rd February. It was a memorable occasion, showcasing a remarkable display of skill and determination from the youngest athletes. Against the backdrop of the blazing sun and overwhelming exhaustion, these budding triathletes demonstrated their exceptional abilities in swimming, cycling, and running, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm and commitment to the sport.
The event not only served as a platform for healthy competition but also underscored the importance of physical activity and sportsmanship among the next generation of athletes. The participants, despite their young age, exhibited a commendable spirit that bodes well for the future of sports.
The Under 11 girls category saw impressive performances from Veerle, Lahnee, Valentina and Eva. In the Under 11 boys category, Felix, Hector and Bixente showcased their athletic prowess. The Under 13 Girls category witnessed stellar performances from Mina and Emeliya, showcasing not only physical prowess but also determination and focus beyond their years. In the Under 13 boys category, Berend, Ivar and Swabir displayed impressive skills and determination, highlighting their potential as promising young athletes.
A special congratulations goes to Eva for her outstanding achievement in securing the 2nd place in the Under 11 Girls category. Her accomplishment is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience displayed by all the participants.
