2nd October 2025
The U9 A Girls ventured to Woodcreek last Thursday, 2nd October, for the KAISSO Football Tournament, showing incredible teamwork, skill, and resilience throughout the day.
After four hard-fought pool matches, the girls advanced to the semi-finals where they faced NIS. In a tense penalty shootout, our courageous captain Jasmin stepped up as goalkeeper, saving two penalties and securing the team’s spot in the final against St Christopher’s.
Despite a determined performance and a tightly contested 0–0 draw, the final was once again decided by penalties — this time ending in St Christopher’s favour. The Braeburn girls proudly took home silver medals, remaining undefeated in open play all day!
Their perseverance, teamwork, and spirit were truly inspiring — a fantastic achievement for the team!
