Braeburn vs Maisha Yangu Children Centre

23rd May 2025

On Friday, 23rd May, Braeburn School hosted a series of friendly Under-13 football matches with Maisha Yangu Children Centre, a valued community partner. The event, held on our school grounds from 3:45pm, brought together boys' and girls' teams in a fun and meaningful afternoon of sport, teamwork and connection.

Braeburn players faced off against the visiting teams, showing great sportsmanship and enthusiasm throughout. We hope that in the future these matches become a cherished tradition, offering a platform for young players from both communities to engage competitively while fostering friendship and mutual respect.

Beyond the goals and cheers, the afternoon served a greater purpose — supporting the ongoing partnership between Braeburn and Maisha Yangu. As in past years, the matches proved to be both exciting and rewarding for all involved, highlighting the power of sport to unite and uplift. Events like these remind us of the importance of community and we are grateful to everyone who came out to support the players and cheer them on.
