Braeburn @ World Scholars Cup – Global Round 2025, Slovenia.

Over the summer holiday, junior scholars from Braeburn School proudly flew the Kenyan flag at the prestigious global round of the World Scholars Cup in Ljubljana, Slovenia, following a stellar performance in the regional qualifiers. Among over 700 participants from 40+ countries, six Junior Braeburn scholars showcased exceptional skill in debates, collaborative writing, and the Scholars Challenge, bringing home an impressive 9 gold and 16 silver medals.

The team also took part in the Cultural Show, captivating the global audience with a rich display of Kenya’s heritage through music, dance, and storytelling that highlighted the beauty and diversity of their homeland.

A special mention goes to Aanay Galani and Aaradhya Singh who ranked among the Top 25 in the History Challenge, a testament to their academic excellence and passion for learning.

Outside the competition halls, the team embraced Slovenia’s enchanting charm, cruising across the serene waters of Lake Bled, exploring its iconic island and castle, and marveling at the ancient architecture that reflects the country’s rich historical tapestry.

Our focus now moves to the final round slated to take place in November at the prestigious Yale University in the United States of America.
