15th November 2023
Braeburn came together to celebrate Anti-Bullying Day, a cause close to our hearts. The day was dedicated to raising awareness about bullying, its effects on young people, and empowering our pupils to take a stand against it.
Throughout the day, our pupils engaged in a variety of activities designed to help them identify what constitutes bullying, understand its impact on everyone involved, and learn how to respond when faced with such situations. The goal was to cultivate a community that values empathy, respect, and kindness.
The highlight of the day was the powerful statement made by all pupils and teachers who showed up wearing odd socks. This symbolic gesture celebrated our individual uniqueness, sending a resounding message that diversity should be embraced and celebrated, rather than used as a basis for ridicule or harm.
At Braeburn, we believe in fostering a school environment where every student feels safe, supported, and respected. Anti-Bullying Day serves as a reminder that, together, we can create a community that stands against bullying and values the differences that make each of us special.
Thank you for being a part of Braeburn's commitment to a bully-free environment.
