Braeburn’s Young Stars Shine at U7 Football Matches

On 15th September, a group of enthusiastic Year 1 and 2 pupils proudly represented Braeburn in an U7 football fixture at Hillcrest. The excitement built on the bus journey, with the players singing and cheering to get themselves ready for the matches ahead.
The boys were split into two teams, and both sides put on impressive performances – securing convincing victories of 3–1 and 9–0. Standout contributions came from Yonatan, Elisha and Denzel, whose exceptional skills were even recognised by their opponents. The boys displayed excellent teamwork, rotating through different positions and sharing responsibilities throughout the matches.
The girls also played with great spirit and determination, giving their all despite a tough 3–1 loss to Hillcrest.
Overall, it was a fantastic day for our budding footballers. The experience has filled them with confidence and belief as they continue to grow and develop their love for the game.
