BTEC BUSINESS GAIN VALUABLE PRACTICAL UNDERSTANDING

On Thursday 1st January, the BTEC and Business students took a trip to Equity Centre, the head office of the Equity Group. It was a great learning experience, where we gained information on various aspects of running a business.
The topics discussed included Corporate Social Responsibility through Equity’s ‘Wings To Fly’ programme and its effect on business, Finance and budgeting through their Business Performance department, borrowing through their Credit department, corporate communication and the effects of the capping on interest rates to the economy as a whole.
