BTEC Outstanding Learners’ Awards

This year, the Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards were held at the Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi on the 7th March 2026. This annual event celebrates the achievements of learners in International GCSE, International A Level, and BTEC, with awards presented to top achievers in Kenya, the Africa region, and across the world. We were absolutely delighted that our school secured a total of ten awards during the ceremony.
Kanishka Kislaya achieved the highest mark in Kenya for Pearson Edexcel International A Level Mathematics. Both Yassin El-Kassas and Kiran Kabiru Mwangi achieved distinctions in all their units for both BTEC Business and BTEC Sport. Furthermore, Joe Mwithiga Mahiti, Dybdahl Emeline Archer, Kendi Anisi Njiru, Ian Philips Nyachoti, Serita Khavochi Kuya, and Ashley Chepkorir Kotei all achieved distinctions in all their units for BTEC Business. Congratulations to these students from the Class of 2025; we look forward to celebrating even more successes next academic year.
Additionally, the afternoon was made even more special by our musicians from Years 9, 10, and 12, who were invited to entertain the guests. They took to the stage, sang, and played various instruments with such expertise and professional skill that the audience was completely wowed. Their beautiful melodies were a highlight of the event, and they left the stage to a huge round of applause with the audience asking for more.
