In our Year 12 and 13 BTEC business classes, we have been learning about planning, running, and evaluating events. On Thursday, 23rd of November we visited Wanderjoy Party World Ltd in order to further our understanding of the process of how an event is organised and managed from the beginning to the end. This included real-life exposure to the physical, human, and technological resources required to run a successful event. The trip enabled us to practise our academic understanding and apply it to a real-life setting.
Students toured the Wanderjoy grounds with the different directors and members of management. Later, we were educated by the Human Resource Manager, the Events Manager, and the Administrator. It was timely, appropriate, and ideal. This will help us complete our assignment briefs and make better career decisions in the future.
Finally, Wanderjoy accommodated us with their hospitality and we are thankful for the wonderful experience.
