CAT4 Assessments

30th September 2023

CAT4 Assessments play a very important role in helping teachers, parents and students understand the cognitive ability of a student. These assessments give clear indicators of how students like to learn as well as summaries of how teachers and parents can best support students' progress.

This term we have had a drive to help the students and parents gain a deeper understanding of the CAT4 assessments as a useful tool to support progress. Parents of Year 10 and 11 students enjoyed a CAT4 information presentation this week and Year 10 and 11 students have received student-friendly assemblies on this topic.

Throughout the year we will continue to offer further presentations to students and parents as and when it is appropriate to do so.
