Celebrating Student Talent Beyond the Classroom

26th September 2025

Amidst the glitz and vibrant colours at the Jalaram Auditorium in Parklands on Saturday, 20th September, Pavithra graced the stage, captivating the audience with her poise, elegance and skill. Having devoted nearly a decade to this classical art form, she, together with a group of Bharathanatyam dancers, presented a moving performance themed An Ode to Rivers, telling a moving story while showcasing both discipline and deep artistic expression. Surrounded by family, friends and well-wishers, it was inspiring to witness the culmination of her hard work, countless hours of practice and enduring passion.

As a school, we take immense pride in celebrating and supporting students who shine not only in the classroom but also in their wider pursuits. Mrs Macharia, Mrs Muthama and I were honoured to be part of the audience, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to her supportive peers Naana, Karimi, and Eva-Emilia for their presence, too.

Pavithra’s achievement is a wonderful reminder of the creativity, resilience and dedication our students bring to all that they do.
