Christmas Carols Around the Tree

On Wednesday 7th December, the Junior Choir, comprised of children from Years 3 to 6, came together to sing carols around the Christmas tree. They sang a collection of songs, including traditional Christmas songs with a modern twist like Frosty Hand Jive, and songs from Christmas themed musicals. The audience, made up of parents and children from Early Years and Key Stage 1 joined in while singing ‘Jingle Bells’, a song that proved to be a favourite with the younger children. After the beautiful singing, everyone present was invited to enjoy Christmas cookies which were generously provided by the kitchen staff. All in all, the choir did a great job in getting us into the Christmas mood.
