Cultural Immersion: Year 5 Converse in Swahili at Artcaffe

Pupils in Year 5 went on an exciting field trip to the Artcaffe on March 13th and 14th, with the goal of improving their Swahili conversational skills. On arrival, they struck up a discussion in Swahili with the servers as they placed their food and drink orders.They then settled down to enjoy the sumptuous food served according to their orders.
Thereafter, they were required to ask in Swahili how much they had spent and to express their bill in Kenyan Shillings.
All of the children had a lovely, satisfying, and educational trip that undoubtedly gave them a memorable and enriching experience.
