Democracy at Braeburn

In celebration of the International Day of Democracy on 15th September, the value of this week was democracy. Students have learned about the different democratic systems and the importance of it in upholding human rights. They have also understood how democracy is taught and implemented into the hidden curriculum of the school through the election of class representatives to sit on the student council. A full list of those elected will be published in next week's newsletter; a big well done to those who have put themselves forward to be a part of the school's decision-making process.
