9th October 2025
On Thursday, 9th October, creativity filled the air as children from Early Years all the way to Year 8 took part in “The Big Draw.” This year embraced the theme "Drawn Together." In a special departure from our usual lessons, the entire school paused for a day dedicated entirely to art. Rather than focusing on individual projects, pupils had the opportunity to collaborate on a variety of group activities designed to foster teamwork and creativity.
Throughout the day, our artists engaged in exciting projects such as creating large paint-by-number murals, printing their handprints to decorate the dress of our sculpture of the Goddess of Harmonia, and designing intricate tessellations. The event also featured fun drawing games that involved using both hands or working together as a team. Themes like "Draw Together," "Work Together," "Stick Together," "Paint Together," and "Weave Together" encouraged pupils to connect through art, building a sense of community and shared achievement.
Overall, "The BIG Draw" was a vibrant celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the joy of working together through art.
