Early Man Spotted at Braeburn!

21st February 2024

Year 2 embarked on a captivating journey back in time, immersing themselves in the world of Early Man. Dressed up as Early Men and Women, adorned with tools and weapons, the day began with a parade, showcasing their intricate costumes and breathing life into history.

Post-parade, the children engaged in a range of hands-on activities mirroring Early Man's lifestyle. From crafting Early Men and Women cones to intricate weaving, necklace design, and captivating cave paintings, the day unfolded with exploration and discovery.

The infectious enthusiasm of the children was palpable, revealing not only their enjoyment but also a deeper grasp of history. A heartfelt thank you to parents for their creativity and dedication in crafting the wonderful costumes. Gratitude is also extended to our teachers for their commitment to making history both engaging and memorable.
