Early Years Visit an Adventure Farm

24th March 2023

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) pupils were overjoyed to visit a farm. They were fascinated with feeding cows, pigs, fish and petting the rabbits. They also had an opportunity to see how some fruit and vegetables grow and some children even got a chance to pick a few of them.

This trip was beneficial in several ways;

-Pupils were exposed to different animals and plants, expanding their comprehension of the world that surrounds them.

-The farm offered contrasting tactile experiences, encouraging language development, sensory development and an increased appreciation for nature.

In addition, the farm staff were impressed with how much knowledge our little ones displayed, as well as their efforts to follow instructions. Well done to the entire EYFS team!
