End of Term 1- Headteachers Note
18th December 2020
The end of term is now here and I would like to wish you and your families a happy festive holiday wherever you may be. It has been so wonderful to see the students return to School and appreciate being taught in a face to face manner.
The behaviour has been excellent and this has allowed our students to get back on track. It is clear that aspects of learning and knowledge content have been compromised with some students related to Remote teaching and learning and we will be really addressing this next term especially for the Candidate years who now approach their trial examinations.
Please note that the trial examinations will be 3 weeks later this year. After last year, we understand the importance of these examinations and we would like the students and teachers to have a little more time to prepare for them. Trial Examinations Commence on 25th January 2021.
RETURN TO SCHOOL REMINDERS FOR NEXT TERM
Please be reminded about the following Reopening Dates for your information:
- Monday 4th January- Staff Training
- Year 9 Parent Forum (This may be a Pre-record)
- Tuesday 5th January- Year 9s Return to School for Full School and COVID 19 orientation.
- Wednesday 6th January- Years 9, 10,11,12,13 return to School.
