EYFS Vocal Concert

Blue skies, garden backdrop and add in the most amazing audience, and you have the makings of an awesome great, funny, sweet concert.
The purpose of this concert was to introduce the children to the special experience of performing music before an audience and developing confidence while performing. The Early Years during their first vocal concert took this assignment very seriously and performed!
The vocal concert was held in the EYFS garden, and gave the assemblage of proud teachers and fellow pupils a chance to sample some of the work undertaken over the past weeks by the very young musicians.
The performances included a variety - from well known nursery rhymes to their own renditions of simple songs. The children were really brave, some even oozing with confidence! Not only was it great fun for the children and good practice for performing, but we also got to practice being good audience members who listen attentively and support our peers. Well done to all.
