Le français est une langue intéressante!
In Braeburn School, we value and appreciate our diversity in languages. Multilingualism is inherently embedded in our everyday processes. We recognise, celebrate and promote different languages and culture in special curriculum days.
The theme for the year was, ‘The French language, connecting for action'.
Pupils participated in special activities that were incorporated into their everyday subjects. We did mathematics in French, wrote French poems in our English lessons, sang French songs during Music, created art in Art lessons, studied countries and their flags during Geography and learnt about the chic culture of the French in our citizenship discussions.
We certainly pride ourselves in being among some 274 million people worldwide who speak the language.
