FS2 Examine Leaves in Ngong Forest

29th February 2024

On Thursday, February 29, the FS2 children visited Ngong Road Forest for their monthly nature day excursion. Their main focus was to examine and contrast the different types of leaves on the various trees. They observed the colour, shape, size, texture, and even scent using their senses. They noticed a lot of egg nests on the leaves and they came to the conclusion that leaves are highly significant to the small critters in the forest. Our young explorers delighted in scaling the forest's trees as well.
