Girls Display Fighting Spirit at U13 KAISSO Football Tournament!

27th September 2025

The U13 KAISSO football tournament that took place on Saturday, 27th September at Braeburn Nanyuki was filled with excitement, skill, and plenty of Braeburn Spirit as our teams gave their all on the pitch.

The boys 2nd team had a mixed run in their pool games, recording 1 victory, 1 draw, and 3 losses. Despite not progressing to the semi-finals, they showcased resilience and determination throughout the competition.

The girls, however, lit up the tournament with fantastic teamwork and desire. They kicked off with a 0-0 draw against Braeside before notching back-to-back 1-0 wins over Braeside Thika and Woodcreek. Two more 0-0 draws saw them finish top of their pool.

In the semi-finals, the girls powered to a 2-0 victory over St. Austin’s, earning a place in the final against familiar rivals Braeside. Despite their tireless effort, an early goal from Braeside proved decisive. Our girls battled bravely but had to settle for a well-deserved runners-up finish.

A fantastic achievement and a proud day for Braeburn football—well done, girls!
