Golf for a Good Cause at Kongonis Charity Tournament

6th February 2026

Braeburn was well represented at the Kongonis Charity Golf Tournament held at the Royal Nairobi Golf Club on 6th February, with two mixed teams taking part in support of a great cause. One team, made up of two teachers and two students, teed off from the 10th, while a second team of one parent and three students got underway from the 1st tee.

The day was hot and challenging, but everyone showed fantastic resilience and sportsmanship throughout the round. There were some real highlights too, including a superb birdie on a par 4 from one of our teachers, with the teaching staff combining for an impressive five pars. One of our students also put in a strong performance, finishing the round with a very respectable 30 points.

Although the Braeburn teams were unable to stay for the prize presentation, the school’s enthusiasm, team spirit, and support for the event were clear to see, making it a memorable day and ensuring Braeburn was proudly represented at this charitable tournament.
