Hoops & Highlights: U13s Shine at The Rusinga Mixed Basketball Tournament

Our U13 Mixed Basketballers were in fine form on February 28th. The team played with incredible heart, showing exactly what can be achieved when players communicate and trust one another on the court.
The standout moment: The introduction of our new zone defense was a game-changer. When the squad stayed disciplined, they were a wall, making it nearly impossible for the opposition to find the basket. Seeing those practice drills turn into real-match results was a proud moment for players and coaches alike.
The Results:
- Record: 4 Wins, 2 Losses
- Standing: A nail-biting finish! We tied on points with St Austin’s and Brookhouse Runda for the 2nd and 3rd spots, ultimately placing 4th due to the points-scored tiebreaker.
Though they missed the trophy by the narrowest of margins, the team’s development is the real victory. They are primed and ready for the next tournament—bring it on!
