IAPS Swimming Gala Highlights!

The IAPS swimming galas were held across three venues, following the established tradition of recent years. Brookhouse School played host to the Under 9 gala, The Banda School welcomed the Under 11 swimmers, and Kenton College provided the setting for the Under 13 competition.

Swimmers showcased remarkable efforts, achieving personal best times and displaying exceptional dedication to the sport. Their hard work and perseverance were evident in the outstanding results recorded throughout the event.

Record-Breaking Achievements

A special congratulations to the following swimmers for their incredible accomplishments:

  • Berenice (U11) – Set a new record in the 50m breaststroke event.
  • Marvin (U13) – Established a new record in the Individual Medley (IM) category.
  • Liya (U9) – Dominated her events by finishing first in all of her strokes.

Team Performances

The various teams also put forth commendable performances:

  • U11 Team – Secured second place overall.
  • U9 Team – Finished in fourth place.
  • U13 Team – Achieved a fifth-place finish.

Overall Results Among 11 Schools

  • Girls' Team – Achieved an impressive third-place finish overall.
  • Boys' Team – Also secured third place overall.
  • Combined Boys and Girls Team – Finished fourth overall out of eleven participating schools.

These results highlight the remarkable effort and determination of all swimmers who participated. Congratulations to every athlete who contributed to this impressive showing, and we look forward to even greater achievements in future competitions!
