14th November 2024
From the 12th to the 14th of November, the Braeburn field came alive with energy and excitement during the Inter-House Cricket Tournaments for the Under 9, Under 11 and Under 13 age categories. The competition saw Ndovu, Chui, Kifaru, and Twiga houses face off in a thrilling series of matches that showcased the batting, bowling, and fielding skills developed by our young cricketers.
Every afternoon, the air was filled with cheer songs as participants rallied behind their houses, creating an electric atmosphere. The thrill of the game was palpable, with joyous screams echoing when wickets fell and urgent shouts of “Run!” as batsmen dashed across the pitch to complete runs. Each match was a testament to the players' growing skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. Whether batting for boundaries, bowling for key dismissals or diving to make crucial saves in the field, every participant gave it their all to secure glory for their house.
Congratulations to all the players, coaches, and supporters for making the tournament an unforgettable celebration of cricket. Moments like these not only reinforce the values of teamwork and perseverance but also foster a deep love for the sport.
